I am totally inspired by the work of American fashion designer Erin Fetherston. I haven’t done a FASHION FOWARD post in awhile. When I saw Erin’s Spring Summer 2015 collection on the runway via Style.com, I had a fashion “wow” moment. Erin designs using sharp silhouettes and then adds in very feminine touches. Butterflies, lace and flowers are put to work throughout this collection featuring dresses, tops, shorts and skirts. This cheerful classic spring collection seems to harken back to the 1950’s in its form but has a very fresh modern timeless appeal. I wear very simple clothes and typically I am wearing black in the winter. At home, I like simple unadorned style. For spring, these dresses have inspired even me to think a little differently about fashion and home decor. Thank you Erin!
Here is today’s Fashion Forward!
What do you prefer.. the flowers, the butterflies or the lace? For some reason the butterflies are speaking to me to wear and the delicate airy florals for the home. Must do a little shopping!
Happy Thursday!

P.S. One of my dearest friends AT is in town this week. She is visiting from London. Have had a great time seeing her…she came by my house to have a glass of wine with me and TE the other night and am having dinner with her tonight. Wish she would move back to L.A.! Hint hint!

The butterflies definitely speak to me, I’m currently painting my upstairs hall and adding butterfly wallpaper to the flat panel doors.
