FASHION FORWARD: HOW FASHIONISTAS LIVE!

It is New York Fashion Week right now.  I’d love to be there.

I was at Fashion Week in New York a few years back and it was fun.  I only saw one show but it was fantastic.  Years and years ago I was also in Milan for Fashion Week there and that was an experience of a lifetime – I went to all of the shows – Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Prada, Armani and more.  Wow.

So far, this New York Fashion Week (NYFW), I have loved perusing all of the sites showing the street fashion of those going in and out of shows and presentations and seeing next year’s fantastic spring clothing collections – all from afar. I wish I could be there – hobnobbing with the most fashionable people in the world, wearing cute dresses, darling coats, sprinting from show to show in high heels. I also am little happy I am not there – there is a lot of pressure to show up looking chic and to exude an unforced sense of style and elegance I would think. I know, I know, one’s sense of style is innate and natural and we should all be proud of who we are…but I would still agonize over daily outfit choices…I know I would.  Okay, I take it back…I want to be at Fashion Week.  I would figure out the clothes….it is an amazing event and I want to be there!

So instead, for reasons that have nothing to do with agonizing about Fashion Week wardrobe,  I am here in Los Angeles…going to work in just a bit, wearing cute workity work clothes and then going to some sort of Hollywood work party tonight.  I’ll enjoy this fahionable week in New York via the web I guess.

Okay…enough about me…

In honor Fashion Week, I thought I would share with you some images from one of my new favorite websites…Tales of Endearment. It is a collection of fashion related photographs and blog posts by a Brooklyn based fashion consultant named Natalie Joos.

Natalie from Tales, also takes photos of all of her fashionable friends and acquaintances digs. From flats in London, to NYC lofts, and even over to Sydney to an apartment belonging to a model.

I like to see the way the most fashionable in the world live…don’t you?

Which of these two fashionistas apartments do you prefer?  I like booth…but am probably leaning towards the London loft of Caroline Issa.

Hope you had a great weekend and hope you have a fabulous week!

Happy Monday!

I love both! But I’m also loving a bit more the London loft. I love to see how fashionable people live. It seems like *usually* people who have great style as far as dressing themselves also have great style when it comes to dressing their homes.

Behind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOBehind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOCOZY bedding collection at the Welspun showroom in New York. Met with some buyers, had a fun time with the Welspun team, then capped off the weekend with a visit with friends. It is a long process to get bedding in stores across the country...showing the collections at textiles market is one of the first steps!
If you're interested in learning how I have gotten @cococozy products into stores around the country over the years including in major retailers...follow along...just one entrepreneur's journey. :)

Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celeb Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celebrate...I want to help.
I want to make a meaningful impact in our greater Los Angeles community suffering from the fires. I invite you to join me in transforming birthday wishes into support for one local organization on the ground in Pasadena/Altadena.
I have made a contribution today already to the LA Fire Relief Fund created by @victorybiblechurch in Pasadena. They are actively assisting families in need in both Pasadena and Altadena who have been affected by the devastating Eaton Fire.
Although I don't have a personal connection to Pastor DeCuir or the church, I was searching for an organization that is helping in the Altadena area. A well respected civil rights attorney I follow @leemerrittesq is on the ground helping the church members and community members with legal services in the wake of the fires. I hope by contributing to their efforts, we can extend a helping hand to those facing significant challenges during this difficult time
To donate, please visit their website at https://vbcpasadena.org/ (link in bio as well). Every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to those who need it most. Tell them you heard about them from me.
Your generosity to the Los Angeles community is the best birthday gift I could ask for.

Happy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this freshHappy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this fresh chapter, I’m reminded of the beauty of starting anew and I like recommitting to goals at the top of the year. Nothing set in stone but just an overall vision of what I'd like to do and who I would hope to help along the way.
This year, my mantra is: **dream big, act boldly, treasure the small joys, continue to lead with kindness and to have as much empathy as possible for others **. Just a few things...😂
I’m also deeply committed to helping people who follow along to achieve their dreams. I'll be curating captivating interior design inspiration with COCOCOZY that will hopefully give you ideas and dreams for your own space. I will also be empowering you to realize the value of your influence with Chirpyest by earning cash back for sharing and shopping. I hope to be open about the journey of the COCOCOZY product line. I want to share real time behind the scenes how the line is being built and how we are growing Chirpyest; both examples of the not so linear journey of building businesses from the ground up. I hope these stories spark you to push your own boundaries and shake out of your comfort zones.
Lastly, in 2025, I’m committed to surrounding myself with people who have a positive vibe about them while striving to be that same light for others. Luckily, I have a great start on this with an amazing family and fantastic group of friends - a fantastic support network.
My wish for you in 2025: May this year bring you clarity, courage, and the confidence to pursue all that makes you happy.
What’s one thing you’re committing to in 2025? Let’s inspire each other in the comments! 💬❤️
Let's get to this...am ready 2025!
