Found this room on the house hunt and thought the octagonal mirror on the fireplace mantel was stunning. A real focal point in this room, oversized, weighty, metallic, octagonal….the perfect pop for this bedroom. Plus who doesn’t love a fireplace in the bedroom?? The mantel is a great place for variety and height in your accessories. Add a stack of your favorite books or some candlesticks of varying heights! A green plant adds the element of life and a pop of color in this bedroom…and of course we need to talk about that beige woven rug, perfect for this space (can’t wait to share photos of my new rugs on the blog this week!)
I’m learning through all the house hunting that this is the perfect season for trying new design ideas that I’ve had my eye on…might need to add octagonal mirror to that list.
Alright now back to the never ending Christmas Dinner prep….oh vey!
