Get Inspired: A Dreamy Primary Bathroom in Los Angeles

July 6, 2022

Step inside this dreamy primary bathroom in Los Angeles, California. It’s a Parisian-inspired sanctuary that complements the Hollywood Regency-style home. DISC Interiors took on this project to give the space a much-needed facelift. It’s located in the historic neighborhood of Hancock Park. The 100-year-old neighborhood was the home of old Hollywood icons including Nat King Cole, Ava Gardner, and Clarke Cable. People gravitate toward this neighborhood due to the historic architecture and to relive 1920s Los Angeles.

The star of the bathroom is the shower. It has rounded edges for a sleek and modern design. DISC wanted the bathroom to mirror Paris Hotels. The marble detail gives the bathroom a glamourous finish that is suited for a dreamy primary bathroom in Los Angeles.

Everyone loves a tub… right? This tub was placed right next to an oversized window. The perfect view for a morning soak before a busy day of work. The decor is a mix of vintage and contemporary finds including the antique rug from Marc Phillips Rugs and the vintage French side table from Nickey Kehoe.

The bathroom is accessorized with sheer curtains draped around the large window. DISC wanted to add glamour to the bathroom so they decided to add gold hardware. The bathroom feels romantic but has that old Hollywood vibe that the clients requested.

This week had its challenges, but it was still a step up from the last few. That’s reason enough to celebrate with a great dinner. 🥂
Tonight’s choice: denim on denim with a few Chanel accessories. Simple, effortless, and perfect for ending the week on a high note.

Unpopular opinion: a great tapestry does more for a room than a great sofa. Agree or disagree? Drop it below 👇

Low light. Lacquered walls. A kitchen wrapped in hand-patinated brass. An antique mirrored bath with painted bamboo panels. A bedroom in floor-to-ceiling leopard print that somehow feels calm. Maximalism that whispers.
Save this one for the next time someone tells you maximalism can’t be serene. 🖤

Picked lemons from my mom’s tree in Claremont andPicked lemons from my mom’s tree in Claremont and then spotted lemons selling for $1.29 each at a grocery store in Beverly Hills. 🍋
Did some quick math and realized I might be sitting on a gold mine. 😂
New business idea? Lemon mogul? Freshly squeezed startup founder?
Stay tuned. Lol.
