To get a more chic design it’s all about mixing materials. Start with a unique headboard made of bamboo, rattan, or light-colored wood. Decorate the bed with crisp white linen bedding and textured throw pillows. You can accessories the room with seagrass chairs too. It’s essential to find accent pieces to focus on and then build the room around them to create a clean and serene bedroom.

If your want a little more drama, play around with shapes. You can style around the headboard with unique lighting fixtures. Keep the walls bare so the room isn’t overwhelming. Make sure to add accessories that have a purpose—layer muted tone rugs for dimension in your room. My favorite thing to do is to find unique pieces at vintage shops. It adds character to a room and that way friends can’t copy your decor LOL.
