Brainstorming ideas today for Christmas Eve. These are pictures of the table I set last year at my sis DS’s house for holiday dinner. Lots of gold, a straw runner, nice Christofle flatware, a low red berry centerpiece in an unpainted flower box, and glitter ornaments as place cards and favors. I cooked for about 8 people last year. This year it could be double. Oh what to do. Need to figure something cute out.
Tip: I wanted to add a little green into the table setting so I actually layered the straw runner on top of a wider green runner to add layers.
Tip 2: Went to the flower mart here in Los Angeles and bought some green leaves, red berries, oasis and an unpainted flower box and fashioned that into a low dinner table centerpiece. I had bought tons of other flowers but realized they were too high for people to enjoy good conversation.
Need to figure out colors and scheme for this year…also must blend with sis DS’s midcentury modern decor and vibe. Thinking!

Unpainted flower box and winter berries for a homemade diy centerpiece…also the gold votive candles were just right (above) |

This is last year’s look…throwing party at the same place this year…what will this year look like?
Any ideas. If you do have ideas or want to show me your table setting plan, please tag me @COCOCOZY on Instagram! Can’t wait to see.
Happy Thursday!
