Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrara, Christina Perrin, Reed Krakoff and Narciso Rodriguez are just a few of the high end fashion designers who contributed to elson & company’s Fashion Underfoot collection.

My favorite is this white Narciso Rodriguez rug which features a textured geometric pattern.
Fashion Underfoot is a solid concept – simply offer for sale rugs designed by fashion style makers and then contribute a percentage of proceeds to a worthy cause. Cause marketing at its finest!

Here’s what elson & company’s website has to say about Fashion Underfoot.
“The Fashion Underfoot collection is a natural outgrowth of three core values of elson & company – an emphasis on working with top design talent, producing a premier product and being a philanthropic member of the community. From each designer’s initial sketch, elson & company worked as both advisor and liason between their team of Tibetan weavers and the fashion designers, assisting in all aspects of production, from yarn and color selection to sample production, to finished product.Ten percent of the sale from each rug sold will benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer initiative. “

P.S. Readers…I know…in future…will stay away from themed descriptions that play on words (in this case feet)…won’t put my foot in my mouth again! 🙂
