A stunning sitting room with blue trimmed panel doors and with a view from The Splendor of Cuba from Rizzoli. (above)

Three rooms…three countries…I like

Was browsing through Interiors Magazine and found these spaces…from Cuba, Thailand and right here in the U.S.

Three living rooms…three very different interpretations…one unifying color…international blue!

Custom furniture and textiles add flare to an apartment in Bangkok. (above)

Which of these rooms are you most drawn to…?  Which space could you be happy living in?

Happy happy Friday!

P.S.  Lots to catch up on in the P.S. section…will P.S. up a storm next week!

P.P.S.  Was raining here when I woke up at 5:30a.  Now it is later in the morning (running late oy va voy) and the sun has come out.  Love when a good rain washes away all of the muck in the air.  Only problem is that I am missing half of a roof over my tiny tiny tiny side deck.  Hmmm…need to get that fixed.  Hmmmmm…..

Hi Coco…I’ve been one of your avid followers for quite awhile and love your fabric/pillow line. Could we hope that someday that you make some of your fab patterns into wallcoverings?

I love the charm and character of the first picture but the New York space is the most comfortable in terms of living. Not big on blue though.

Did you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-ÉlyséeDid you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-Élysées closes to traffic entirely?
No cars. Just people, walking straight down the center with the Arc de Triomphe ahead. Then I walked home over The Seine. It had just rained, and the sky was doing something extraordinary. And of course, the Eiffel Tower showed up right on cue.
Paris on a quiet Sunday is something else. 🖤

This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millo This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millory @felixmillory , is defined by two things: a tightly controlled material palette and a sculptural art collection that runs through every room without exception.
Travertine frames every doorway. Dark smoked oak covers the joinery and cabinetry. Grey marble runs across the kitchen counters and island. Within that framework, figurative sculptures on the shelves, a large totemic piece at the entrance, stone forms on the dining table, a large-format artwork in the kitchen. Every room has at least one object that demands your attention. 🗿
→ Save this if you’re designing around a sculpture collection.
