Was browsing the website of interior designer Denise Kuriger and happened upon this majestic modern Malibu manse (alliteration on overdrive).
A 14,000 square foot home on 6 acres of land overlooking the Pacific Ocean in one of Southern California’s prime beach towns! The house itself was conceived by architectural designer Scott Mitchell. Apparently the home belongs to real estate entrepreneur Kurt Rappaport and his fiance (that’s according to an article in Architectural Digest).
Between the designer and architects websites…I found a plethora of pretty photos showing off this modern masterpiece of a home…take a tour!

Generally, I don’t like modern. But much of this home, with its “organic” modern vibe, really appeals to me!
I love this style of him, I think this is one of my new favorites. I’m all about the modern but this home is modern with warmth highlighted with style… simply gorgeous. Yes, I’d live here too!
That entrance is amazing! Love all the use of modern materials.
