TE and I have been talking a lot about floors these days. Most couples talk about their day-to-day experiences, family, friends, current events, finances, love, work and life. Not TE and me. We talk about floors. Been an obsession for the last few days in particular. Something we definitely have in common most certainly! 🙂
We both like the idea of a modern house with well- worn rustic looking wood floors. The look of reclaimed wood floors or old floors filled with knots and divots and life. Today, if buying wood flooring, look for handscraped, wire brushed, distressed treatments to give you that time tested look. Juxtaposed against white walls in a modern home…love the look. Floors can add amazing character to a space…can give a newer home a really authentic old world feel.
