MODERN LONDON LIVING SPACES!

Modern living room with crown moldings, dueling dark blue sofas, wide plank wood floor and a black fireplace mantel
A black fireplace mantel makes a statement in a modern London living room. The space also features two facing dark blue sofas, wide plank wood floors and intricately carved crown moldings. Classic architecture + stylish modern furniture = perfect. (above)

These gorgeous living space photos come directly from the portfolio of Susan Fisher Plotner and Cecilia Hart Wilden of London based architectural and interiors photography firm, Fisher Hart.

Modern decor…all clean and simple…but with incredible levels of detail in the architecture and the accents…very posh, very chic, brilliant!

Living room with high ceilings with modern round ceiling medallion, cream walls, built in bookshelf and sofa with orange curtains
High ceilings are the focus of this room. A flat in the Hampstead area of London features a living room (or sitting room as they say across the pond) with a stunning round modern ceiling medallion surrounded by raised square ceiling panels. Cream walls, sofa and furnishings get a dose of color with spots of bright orange and red throughout the room. (above)

Not something I’d be typically drawn to, but I really like the last photo – the room makes such a statement 🙂

I love the first room and especially the framed artwork above the fireplace, it’s striking! Who is the artist?

A well-designed bunk room isn’t just for kids. It’s about making every guest feel like they got the best bed in the house. Built-in storage, thoughtful lighting, and bedding that actually makes you want to climb up top.
Save this for your next build or renovation inspo and follow for more. 🖤

This Toronto home just redefined “warm modern.” 🤎 This Toronto home just redefined “warm modern.” 🤎
Designer Ashley Montgomery layered reclaimed wood beams, brass hardware, and deep walnut millwork against soft plaster walls, and somehow every single room still feels calm. The olive built-ins in the living room, the arched oak doors, that brass shower enclosure in the primary bath... this is what happens when someone actually commits to a palette.

How much summer can you fit into a few days? ☀️⛵️How much summer can you fit into a few days? ☀️⛵️
I flew from Los Angeles to Nantucket for a very quick trip and I’m planning to find out.
Beautiful beaches, boats, gorgeous interiors, time with friends and one last little dose of August.
Turns out you don’t always need a whole week to feel like you got away. 🤍
So happy to be visiting bestie @francesgfayard and her husband Calvin and my godson Carter for a little last minute end of summer travel. New England at its best. Day 1 was a beautiful day. 🤩
You are not going to feel motivated every day. AndYou are not going to feel motivated every day. And you don’t have to.
Some days you’ll feel inspired and everything seems to click. Other days, you’ll question what you’re doing and wonder if any of it is actually working.
The important thing is not to mistake a slow day for a step backward.
You can keep going even when the motivation isn’t there. Some days, showing up is the progress.
Save this for the days when you need the reminder. 🤍

The best parts of Paris might not be on your itineThe best parts of Paris might not be on your itinerary. 🇫🇷
Some of my favorite travel moments are the ones you don’t plan: the pretty street you turn onto, the café you notice while walking by, the building you stop to look at for no particular reason.
So if you’re planning a Paris trip, don’t fill every hour. Leave room to wander.
