It was built back in 1895 by builder William Polk. An 11,450-square-foot mansion in the heart of San Francisco is currently on the market for nearly $13 million dollars. This historic home features 7 bedrooms, 8 baths. It is in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights area. The listing is held by McGuire Real Estate.
14-foot ceilings, decorative moldings, wood-paneled rooms and staircase, fireplaces, stained glass, bay views from upper floors and so much more.
If you had $12,995,000 to spare, would you buy this home?
If given the opportunity, I would take it…I would spruce up the landscaping in the front…too bad there are so many wires obstructing the front facade, I would work on the decor but I would take it. You?
Happy Thursday!

P.S. New COCOCOZY Embroidered Pillows – Check out our new collection of embroidered pillows on the COCOCOZY shop site…all $90-$120! Will do a story about these soon! In the meantime, get them while we have them in stock! Add some COCOCOZY to your home for fall. I’m loving the black collection.
I loved everything about the rooms (except I would definitely redo the kitchen cabinets and hood).
Totally gorgeous with the spacious rooms, just my style, loved all the light, the high ceilings, the wood floors, ceiling treatments, etc.
The front killed it for me, though, because of the wires as well as the proximity of what looks like a neighboring apartment building, as well as the odd sidewalk concrete which looks like old pieces interspersed with new ones.
The landscaping can definitely be spruced up but the other things are are forever.
For $12 million, I will keep looking.
No Curb Appeal! As a Realtor this may be a difficult sale.
I love the inside of the house. All the rooms look fancy and beautiful. But like someone said earlier, the front is what kind of ruins it. It just doesn’t have the same appeal as the inside.
The house was designed by the legendary architect Willis Polk in 1895, revered in the Bay Area.
