  • Share

Time to start planning your holiday table! The big holiday event is upon us. It’s only 4 days away! So it’s time to start thinking about how to make our Christmas dinner table setting extra special. One way to do that is by putting some extra effort into the table setting. A chic and stylish Christmas dinner table setting can really elevate the entire meal and make it feel extra festive and special.

So, how can you achieve a chic and stylish look for your Christmas dinner table setting? Check out the blog to get inspired.

1. Festive Color Scheme

A cohesive color scheme can go a long way in creating a chic and stylish holiday table. Consider sticking to a classic palette of red, green, and gold, or opt for something more modern with shades of silver and white. I decided to go with a Christmas plaid and layered it with my blue dishware for a unique twist.

2. Incorporate Texture & Greenery

Mixing and matching different textures can add depth and interest to your table setting. Think about using linens with a mix of patterns and solids, or adding in some metallic accents for a bit of shimmer. This is the perfect moment to add sparkle! I decided to decorate the table with some greenery. Fresh flowers and plants are a simple yet effective way to add a festive touch. Consider using sprigs of holly, pine, or mistletoe to add some natural elements to your decor. It’s an easy festive accent that will look good on every table!

3. Details! Details! Details!

It’s the little personal touches that can really make a difference in the overall look of your table setting. Consider adding some personalized place cards, or placing a small gift or treat at each place setting. Chocolate-covered pretzels or festive cookies are easy treats to make at home. Place them in festive baggies with colored ribbon that matches your color scheme. Guests always love receiving unexpected goodie bags. With these tips in mind, you’ll be well on your way to creating a chic and stylish Christmas dinner table setting that your guests will love. So go ahead and get creative – the holidays are all about celebrating with loved ones, and a beautifully decorated table is just one way to do it!

Old-world plasterwork meets contemporary furniture, and warm brown-stained wood quietly anchors every room. A conversation between heritage and modernity that never raises its voice. By @atelierdaaa 🤍

Did you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-ÉlyséeDid you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-Élysées closes to traffic entirely?
No cars. Just people, walking straight down the center with the Arc de Triomphe ahead. Then I walked home over The Seine. It had just rained, and the sky was doing something extraordinary. And of course, the Eiffel Tower showed up right on cue.
Paris on a quiet Sunday is something else. 🖤

This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millo This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millory @felixmillory , is defined by two things: a tightly controlled material palette and a sculptural art collection that runs through every room without exception.
Travertine frames every doorway. Dark smoked oak covers the joinery and cabinetry. Grey marble runs across the kitchen counters and island. Within that framework, figurative sculptures on the shelves, a large totemic piece at the entrance, stone forms on the dining table, a large-format artwork in the kitchen. Every room has at least one object that demands your attention. 🗿
→ Save this if you’re designing around a sculpture collection.
