NO MORE WIRE HANGERS BUT WHAT ABOUT A WIRE LOUNGE CHAIR?!

March 12, 2010

Wire lounge chair and ottoman from Jehns + Laub
Hive – Jehns + Laub Wire Lounge Chair and Ottoman – $3998 (Upholstery, urethane, polished chrome lounge chair and ottoman. Tufted or quilted seat and back. By Knoll. 2008. Chair created upon order.)(above)

I am exhausted…and I need a place to lounge for a very long time…and I like this lounge chair…so I can now remain exhausted and dream about lounging in this cool modern white clean lined sophisticated lounge chair. The good life…? Hmmmm….

Anyhoooooooooooooo…love this chair…it is Friday…lounging time is almost here! Hip hip hooray! (Weekend is not so restful though. Among a million and half other things, am going to a birthday party on Saturday night in Laurel Canyon where everyone has to wear wigs. Between this party and Mardi Gras…I have to wonder whether or not grown ups ever just wear regular clothes to social gatherings??? Anyone???)

It really is a beautiful chair. But that is quite a price tag! I would shop around a little before paying Knoll $4K.

You are funny! Send an image of you + wig!

The chair is unique and lovely and I bet sooooo comfortable. (A little too comfortable, perhaps? I would not get anything done at home…!)

    Happy weekend, ox Mon

Great chair to curl up with a good book and a Snuggie! 🙂 I’d love to have this chair in either lilac or peacock blue.

Designed by @bychenai, a prolific and talented London based wedding and events planner, this wedding is a study in thoughtful design and artful creative direction. We say well done Chenai!
Long tables arranged in a maze-like formation created a striking design, while still allowing 350 guests to move throughout the space. A rich brown and gold palette brought warmth and depth, paired with refined tabletops and lush floral centerpieces.
