Am buying 4 of these lanterns to strategically hang above my deck! Can imagine how great the candlelight will look coming out of these intricately worked pieces. Although named after the country Malta…these candleholders seem Moroccan to me. Maybe though the pierced metal is made to look like the filigree jewelry that comes from Malta. Who knows? All I know is I love these lanterns!
Oh…did I mention they are quite inexpensive too?!?

Thinking ahead to the Christmas holidays… wouldn’t the nickel plated lanterns be beautiful in a greenery, mercury glass table scape? I think so. Thanks for the heads up.

I only ended up buying two. They were 20% off went I went into the Beverly Hills store. Left one out on the table on the deck to see how it weathers. Other is safe and stored. I want to buy more! Love them.
