Floor-to-ceiling picture windows, an A-frame structure and wonderful clean white and brown classic furniture makes for a light and airy multipurpose living room/dining room with a fantastic view in this Lake Hamilton lake house. (above)
I love this vacation home from Little Rock, Arkansas’ Bear Hill Interiors. Perfectly done in my opinion. It is the embodiment of “fresh”. The decor compliments the stunning outdoor views of the gorgeous lake but also makes a wonderfully contemporary but classic design statement.
I would love this to be my summer house. Wouldn’t you?
The brick fireplace is painted bright white and is flanked by two simple white lounge chairs to create an adorable sitting area. (above)
The small kitchen is fabulously appointed with a marble countertop, stainless steel appliances, open shelving, white cabinets and a great subway tile backsplash. (above)
Detail of the kitchen shows off the subway tile backplash with a light grey grout that mirrors the color of the chic carrara marble counters. (above)
White iron furniture, wonderful diamond ikat style pillows and some white ceramic garden stools make for simple outdoor decor on the deck that wonderfully blends with the home’s architectural style. (above)
What do you like about this home? Where would your ideal vacation home be and what might it look like?
Hope you have a happy Monday!

I’m slowly falling in love with white interiors and these photos are wonderful. I just would like to know how many hours per day someone must spend to clean this all to keep it in such a nice shiny white color… :))
Wow! isn’t that nice? smiles.
love it!
Well it definitely feels more like a home than a cottage but stunning nonetheless.
It has the airy, yet cozy feel of a tent! And we mean that in a GREAT way. Just stepping a toe into a house like this makes one feel “on vacation”. Smart to keep a simple palate – let the outdoors provide the color. And the curtains! Beautifully done. Thanks for the gorgeous images!

What’s NOT to like??!?!?!? Fantastic! franki
The whole thing is lovely! The deck overlooking the water has to be my favorite part!
I don’t care if they are oak, I’m painting my cabinets the first weekend my wife is out of town! Shhh! She’ll love it!
Okay, so sitting on my counter are the subway tiles, wood floor piece, the same pulls……….THAT’S MY KITCHEN!! the only difference is the cabinets that came with the house; ugly laminate?? So, on a tight budget and thinking a wonderful charcoal door, white subway tile, marble counters, those floors….and sort of this lighhhhttt taupey/more on the grey…wall? Any thoughts… I gotta paint the cabinets and thought something that really popped but was still classic….??
Anonymous! The charcoal cabinets sound wonderful! Do it and then send me a photo!

Those white subway tiles with the grey grout soothe me. Who makes them?
