The Vibrant Living Room Oasis
The centerpiece of this inviting space is a custom sofa, adorned in the vibrant Mali Orange Fabric by Jane Churchill, perfectly complemented by the exquisite Oberon Bullion Fringe from Samuel & Sons. Flanking the sofa, custom side tables stand as testaments to meticulous craftsmanship. Transporting you to a bygone era, the room boasts treasures steeped in antiquity. Carved Italian alabaster marble table lamps cast a soft, enchanting glow, while an alluring yellow overdyed vintage hand-knotted Oriental rug anchors the space with its timeless allure.

When History Meets Modern Charm: Restoring a Victorian Gem
Samantha Wetton and Alexandra Neu were determined to peel away the layers of unfortunate history and uncover the hidden architectural gems. The home was originally built in 1907. However, it was renovated in the ’80s and ’90s. The design duo was committed to preserving the home’s integrity.
The plumbing, wiring, and even a fire-damaged kitchen floor were among the challenges they tackled, in restoring the house’s foundations. Now the New Orleans property has a dynamic color story that represents the spirit of the historic city.

White Renovated Kitchen Design: The Heart of the NOLA Home Remodel
Finding the balance between old vs new is no easy task in a kitchen design. The most important room in any home remodel is the kitchen. This NOLA kitchen features a bespoke custom island with rattan and iron bar stools. It’s one of the few rooms in the home that has a neutral color palette. For a modern twist, the design team added oversized pendant glass lamps. The stove is part of the La Canche Classique Collection. Summerby Chintz by Colefax. The Enchanting Primary Bathroom
The renovated primary bathroom is a harmonious blend of old-world charm and refined sophistication. My eyes are immediately drawn to the two antique Louis XV–style dressers. They have been repurposed into vanities. Such a clever way to repurpose antique furniture. A vintage 1950s chandelier by J.T. Kalmar dangles gracefully from above, creating an atmosphere of refined luxury. in the bathroom.

The Charming Carriage House
The carriage house is just as charming as the main house. Chip Martinson created the bespoke island to create an elegant feel to the space. The matte black backless stools add a nice contrast.
The Victorian Exterior
For those wondering about the exterior, the pink and green charming color palette is Farrow & Ball Setting Plaster No.231 with trim in Benjamin Moore Galapagos Green. The shutters are painted Jade Romanesque 476 by Benjamine Moore.
