Could the title of this post be any longer? Note to self…shorten post titles so they are not longer than the post…in other words, Coco, learn to self edit (uh I think that is impossible…the self-editing part…just ask my friends who have been on long phone conversations with me…LOL!)
Anyhoooo…..
Here’s a cute little space…an apartment for sale. This real estate listing on realtor Corcoran’s website boasts 969 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths for $949,000 in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood. This condo was renovated and styled by The Brooklyn Home Company. A condo that is clearly staged to sell!
I like the use of black beadboard in the kitchen in and the bath. I also like the black painted window trim in the living room. While some of the furnishings are not quite my taste and would love to see some window coverings in the living room…overall this little space reads a nice neutral for anyone to come put their decor mark on it. Oh did I mention you can buy the furniture along with the apartment? Well you can.
so what do you think of this apartment…does the staging work? Would you ever buy this? What do you like? What would you change?
Happy Monday!

P.S. Okay…time to get organized. Have so much to do for the COCOCOZY shop and the COCOCOZY collection for the summer shows. Oh where to start? Just need to start! Good news is a few new designs coming your way in the next few months!

PS: Love the bedding!
I love the way they staged it. It looks interesting but simple and easy to imagine yourself living there yet there is room to easily change the space with different furniture. Love the kitchen and bathroom too!!

Staging works great. Shows off the ‘bones’ of the place nicely.
I like the white and black too. Nicely neutral, yet easy to visualize how I might add my character to the home.
Gorgeous…they did an incredible job!
Oh NYC! pretty pennies :>)
I think the “neutral-ess” is a positive. It lets you imagine adding your design personality…and I’ve always wanted to try out different color trim!
* TOTALLY AGREE w/ JENN, above!!! (Yep, she took he words right off my computer…)*
Seriously, I always enjoy your blog immensely, and your “signature blanket” is just fabulous!
Wishing you all the best… and as Arnold always sez “I VILLLLLL BE BAAAACK!”.. Blessings,

Good staging for demographic of that neighborhood– young families. Thinking the third bedroom must be really small to fit in under 1000 sq ft!
The stager did a great job! Love everything except the price

I think the staging is fabulous. I would definitely be sold on it!
Great spot! And the price does sound a bit crazy, even given the location. I agree that the dining table is goofy and I have no idea how you fit 3 bedrooms in less than 1000 sf! I love the floors, the tufted sofa and lots of other features, though. Good spot!
GREAT staging! Looks similar to cococozy bedcover!
It looks amazing, but wow – sticker shock (compared to our prices in the South for the same size)! M.
Beautiful!
Love the black trim on the white walls and how the design is classic, simple yet very stylish and sexy. The patterned pillows and throw make the room pop.
very european – love it!:)
Love the wood stools and the kitchen lamp! And that sofa with the black framed art, and all of those details in black…big love!
That bathroom is so amazing in it’s simplicity. I’m in love with black and white interiors right now so this is so fitting. I’m wondering if the living room might be a bit too design-y for potential buyers but I do think it’s chic and perhaps it will appeal to high end buyers. At any rate, I love it!
Hi Coco, I love this little gem. It goes to show you that a small space can be made to feel grand. I also love the white color pallet with the touches of organic woods and the lived in comfy feel of it. The best though are those wood floors, gah!
GORGEOUS! Love the black and white color pallet – esp the dark kitchen cabinets! I would die to live here!

you have such a wonderful blog..im drooling…dying to go thru more..not sure how i missed out on landing here earlier :)…wonderful!!..count me in as ur new fan/follower 🙂
I love the elegant simplicity! Especially that gray sideboard!
Holy smoke! Three bedrooms under a mil! I need to recruit and friend (or two) to purchase it together. 900 sq feet is palatial around these parts! lol
This place is really cute. I think my favorite part is that the staging looks pricey… but more than half of it is IKEA and West Elm! No wonder they’re willing to throw in the furnishings! 🙂
