SHOP WATCH: SUMMERHOUSE STYLE!

A stunning metal screen in the SummerHouse furniture showroom! (above)

SummerHouse is a gorgeous showroom and design firm located in Ridgeland, Mississippi (not too far from Jackson) and owned by designer Lisa Palmer.

The SummerHouse boutique is described as “…unfussy, unique and truly unpredictable. It’s a place where traditional and modern pieces fuse to create a look that’s sophisticated, comfortable and beautifully fit for the individual it defines.”

A well curated showroom as far as I can tell…with beautifully chosen pieces of furniture and accessories from an array of designers! Love it.

Anyhooo…here are some glimpses from the showroom and a little more!

White L-shaped couch with accent pillows with an accent table holding two lamps with gold sculpted bases and white shades, in the background a large bed with a dark wood canopy frame has a COCOCOZY pillow on it

Also, must say, I am thrilled because SummerHouse carries several COCOCOZY products including our cotton knit throws, lavender sachets and lacquer boxes!

Below, COCOCOZY products are on display throughout the SummerHouse showroom.

Five COCOCOZY throws are stacked on top of each other, to their right is a stack of books on top of which is a container holding COCOCOZY Lavender Sachets

Was also thrilled to see SummerHouse’s design portfolio on their website.   Well designed spaces that have been carefully edited! See a few images from their interior design projects below.

Thank you Laurel for sharing all of the information and photos from SummerHouse! Lisa, your shop is lovely! Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely stop by!

Watch to the end to weigh in. Clogs or no clogs? TWatch to the end to weigh in. Clogs or no clogs? They are on sale...not sure.
Summer sale season is here, and we are not holding back. 👏
This is the time of year to finally grab those pieces you’ve been eyeing all season. The good news? Major markdowns are happening right now across some of the best brands.
Our tip: Shop with intention. Know your palette, know your fit, and choose pieces that work with what you already own, not just because they’re on sale.
We’ve already done the hard work and created a Summer Sale Shopping Board filled with our favorite finds. A Shopping Board is like your own storefront. It’s a curated collection of products you can shop yourself or share with others to earn when they purchase through your links.
✨ Want to make it yours?
Comment SALE and we’ll send you the link. Then just tap “Add This Board” to save it to your Chirpyest account. From there, you can shop the collection, share it with your audience, earn from your recommendations, and get cashback on your own purchases. 💛

A 90s home in Amman, Jordan, entirely remodelled by local artisans. Neo-Florentine bones, Levant-eclectic sensibility, arched passageways, and a flea-market-meets-commissioned-art collection that makes every wall feel intentional.
What makes it work: restraint where you’d expect excess, and boldness where you’d expect safety.
This is what happens when a home is built by people who actually know the place. 🖤
Save this, it’s a masterclass in culturally rooted design.

Panic mode activated!
If you only have 10 minutes, focus on these three things:
1. Make the bed. It instantly makes the whole room look cleaner.
2. Fold or straighten the throw blanket and pillows.
3. Clear visible clutter from nightstands and the floor.
That’s it. Those three steps make the biggest visual impact without deep cleaning.
Save this for the next time you need a fast bedroom reset. 🔖

Black is not a bold choice. It’s a neutral, and one of the most versatile ones in design.
The rooms that get it right treat black the same way others treat white or greige: as a foundation that lets everything else breathe. The texture of the wall. The warmth of the wood. The drama of the marble. Black doesn’t compete, it amplifies.
Save this the next time someone talks you out of going dark. 🖤

Life when I’m offline. 🎣 On this trip to Park CitLife when I’m offline. 🎣
On this trip to Park City, UT, I was way off line with a little fly fishing. No emails. No DMs. No feed. Just a rod, a beautiful river, and however long it takes to catch something.
Running two brands means my brain rarely stops so when it does, it really does.
No fish were harmed. All fish were returned into the river.
What do you do when you log off? Comment and let's give each other some ideas!😀
