Long Chippendale Credenza
Chippendale Long Credenza, $2400(above)

Tracy DeRamus, owner of furniture shop Circa Who in West Palm Beach, Florida, has an impeccable eye for very chic vintage home furnishings, lighting and accessories finds!

Tracy describes the store’s aesthetic as “Hollywood Regency meets Vintage Florida” and the key to her successful furniture hunting is that she only buys what she absolutely loves!

Love all of the faux bamboo furniture, tole metal chandeliers, fretwork and carved wood pieces…so fabulous…very stylish retro…fantastic!

I’ll stop blabbering on…take a look at what this fab Florida store has to offer.

My favorites are the mirror, the red tole chandelier, the cut out lamp bases, the red fretwork etageres and the credenza…oh that is everything…so my favorite is everything!

Anything here catch your eye dear readers? If so, where would you put in your home?

Just discovered your site! It’s great. Those chairs are so amazing — the kind of thing you can paint a different color every few years and they’ll look like totally different chairs, with different moods. Like black, or Coco Chanel gray, or Hermes orange…

Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive.Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive. 🌸
One thing I’ve learned is that every outdoor space needs a focal point. It gives your eye a place to land and makes the whole space feel more intentional.
In this courtyard, the bougainvillea naturally becomes that focal point, adding color, height, and movement without overwhelming the space.
If you’re designing your own patio or garden, start with one standout feature, then let everything else support it.
Save this tip for your next outdoor project. ✨

Design by @covetnoir. A 1750 Georgian home in Surr Design by @covetnoir. A 1750 Georgian home in Surrey, restored back to its former grandeur.
Grade II listed and stripped of most of its original character by previous owners, this 9,000 sqft home with seven bedrooms, and five bathrooms was brought back to life for a French-Swedish couple raising two young kids here. The brief: Parisian luxe with a Scandinavian twist, and a design calm enough to keep the grand proportions feeling intimate.
Covet Noir rebuilt what had been lost: full plasterwork, raised & fielded panels, a bespoke decorative ceiling, and added a cantilevered limestone staircase with Nero Marquina cabochon inlay in the entrance hall. The material palette leans into marble and alabaster, softened with boucle and brushed cottons, chosen to hold up to two kids and two dogs without losing the elegance. Antique furniture and architectural fittings were sourced throughout to keep the project sustainable, alongside ground source heating.
Grand bones, calm hand. This is the kind of restoration we could look at all day. 🤍

Does this improve the room’s function?
Does it create a better focal point?
Does it make the space easier to walk through?
If the answer is “no” to all three, maybe it’s just the rearranging itch talking. 😅

A 90s home in Amman, Jordan, entirely remodelled by local artisans. Neo-Florentine bones, Levant-eclectic sensibility, arched passageways, and a flea-market-meets-commissioned-art collection that makes every wall feel intentional.
What makes it work: restraint where you’d expect excess, and boldness where you’d expect safety.
This is what happens when a home is built by people who actually know the place. 🖤
