Well made, well thought out and serves more than one purpose. A trifecta of sorts. This Carlisle Coffee Table Ottoman from Plush Home here in Los Angeles hits all three points right on the head.
This wonderfully elegant but functional piece of furniture is a brand new find. Steven from Plush Home says it is one of the favorite new items from his luxe home furnishings store. Plush prides itself in only selling and making fine hand made furniture crafted from superb materials.
I have a small suede ottoman in my tiny den that I bought about a year ago very cheaply at some mass furniture manufacturer that is entirely not multifunctional! My little ottoman is supposed to serve as a coffee table and possibly a comfy footrest and possibly a comfortable place to sit. Over the course of the last year, I have found that my ottoman is useless…I have to find a tray to put on it to hold drinks or to place a nice table center piece or to even rest a book.
The Carlisle Coffee Table Ottoman is beautifully styled and also provides a great function with a removable tray built right into the upholstery. Here it is shown with a chocolate leather upholstery and dark wood stain base/legs. Perfect for a gentleman’s parlor (or for my little den).
I would femme up the one pictured in this post by putting the tray to use to hold a lovely bowl of white peonies and some silver candle holders! A nice combination of style, grace and function!
