Is anyone else in awe of these stunning steel windows? I know I lean more towards the bright white rooms, but something about the ultra sleek, almost moodiness of the steel windows in both the interior and exterior design spaces has been catching my eye recently…so much so that I’m sharing it with you to see if you feel the same…
My european excursion with my sister DS is fast approaching and I think I’ve got euro designs on the brain…I’ve researched Way. Too. Many cafes and stone pathways and gorgeous european lofts for my own good at this point and I keep seeing this trend of the steel windows. No matter the size of the space, steel windows have established themselves as a decorative element in any room…sometimes acting as doors and windows from an outdoor to indoor space, like this Brooklyn townhouse above from Remodelista. We’re even seeing these steel glass doors being used as room dividers in some of the rooms below. It sections off one space from the other but because it’s all glass it doesn’t make the space feel any smaller (perfect for small spaces…or Hollywood cottages??) What do you think..are steel windows too much or can they be an asset to your design?

I absolutely love them!
I’ve always loved steel windows. I’d love to have a set in a very tall room, like the first picture with the long table and everything! *Sigh*
Almost no one manufacturing anymore, as William Baily quit over 15 years ago…who makes them now?
