interiorsI have said it a million times here on the blog…yellow was my grandmother’s favorite color. She was one of THE nicest, most cheerful, most caring loving people in the world. It made sense that bright cheerful yellow was her favorite color. She even had a yellow kitchen.
Since it is summer and yellow reminds me of summer AND my sweet grandmother…here are a some suprising summer time inspired yellow interior designs! Doors, sofas, chairs, stairs and more…all in a sunshine yellow!

I think the bright sunny yellow accents work as a substitute for Pantone “Greenery” (this year’s Color Of the Year). It goes against the trends and I think it’ll still look good even when the next few years’ worth of exterior/interior design fads hit and pass.
