SUPER SMALL – APARTMENT LIVING IN UNDER 350 SQUARE FEET

Small white living room in an apartment in France with a reclaimed wood coffee table, slip covered sofa and decorative baskets
A 344 square foot apartment in France! (above)

Question? How do you stylishly squeeze a living room with sofa and chairs, a working dining room, bedroom, bath, and kitchen in 344 square feet?  Answer: Very carefully.

Here is an example of small space living from France. A small but well appointed living room with neutral gray painted walls, a fab Moroccan rug, white slipcovered sofa and some black and white photography as art. A tiny but usable dining room with a paneling on the wall to create texture and depth and an oversized pendant light. A bedroom in a loft is decorated with a myriad of urchin like decorative mirrors in gold.

Nothing over the top…but certainly a great use of a very very small space…it is visually cohesive and certainly livable.  Right?  Check it out.

A small one wall kitchen is in a nook off of the living room…square tiles with black grout and white paneled cabinet door fronts with black pulls (above)

The white upholstered bed takes up the entire room…brass bronze mirrors hang gallery style on the wall. (above)

What do you think of this super small space? Would you add anything to it? Would you change the color? Or do you think they did the best they could with under 350 square feet? Like or dislike? Weigh in please in the comments!

Happy Tuesday!

P.S.  Spent the day yesterday entirely non productive.  Was ogling over a beautiful present TE gave me for our one year anniversary (dating anniversary).  Sorry for not posting.  So on Sunday, TE took me on a staycation (vacation at in our home town) at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel.  We had our first date at The Beverly Hills Hotel a year ago! So TE got us a beautiful room with a view of the garden and then we had a fun anniversary dinner at the Polo Lounge which ended with me sitting at the piano there threatening to play.  What a magical day with TE…so much fun…just relaxing and catching up.  The service was great at the hotel.  It is very formal but comfortable at the same time.  Spent a lot of the time though calculating how long I could stay at that hotel using my life savings.  Would want my sis and mom to come and TE and his family so I figured my daily expenses would be quite high…I can dream…right?  I’ll post a picture of my lovely present from the very nice TE on Instagram later today.

It would be a fabulous dorm room for a college student! Very prettily done.

Otherwise, I think it is unsettling to be crammed into such a small space. I don’t think it is right that this is even considered an apartment because of the miniscule size. People need space.

Excellent use of such a small space, I wouldn’t change a thing, particularly love the mirrors in the loft bedroom!

Wow. Love it. So clean and airy, you would never know it was small! The use of natural materials adds to the charm and warms the space. I think they did an amazing job.

I can appreciate the design but for me it is like living inside a sock – feels like it is screaming for pops of color. And tell me please, where do the books go?

Behind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOBehind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOCOZY bedding collection at the Welspun showroom in New York. Met with some buyers, had a fun time with the Welspun team, then capped off the weekend with a visit with friends. It is a long process to get bedding in stores across the country...showing the collections at textiles market is one of the first steps!
If you're interested in learning how I have gotten @cococozy products into stores around the country over the years including in major retailers...follow along...just one entrepreneur's journey. :)

Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celeb Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celebrate...I want to help.
I want to make a meaningful impact in our greater Los Angeles community suffering from the fires. I invite you to join me in transforming birthday wishes into support for one local organization on the ground in Pasadena/Altadena.
I have made a contribution today already to the LA Fire Relief Fund created by @victorybiblechurch in Pasadena. They are actively assisting families in need in both Pasadena and Altadena who have been affected by the devastating Eaton Fire.
Although I don't have a personal connection to Pastor DeCuir or the church, I was searching for an organization that is helping in the Altadena area. A well respected civil rights attorney I follow @leemerrittesq is on the ground helping the church members and community members with legal services in the wake of the fires. I hope by contributing to their efforts, we can extend a helping hand to those facing significant challenges during this difficult time
To donate, please visit their website at https://vbcpasadena.org/ (link in bio as well). Every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to those who need it most. Tell them you heard about them from me.
Your generosity to the Los Angeles community is the best birthday gift I could ask for.

Happy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this freshHappy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this fresh chapter, I’m reminded of the beauty of starting anew and I like recommitting to goals at the top of the year. Nothing set in stone but just an overall vision of what I'd like to do and who I would hope to help along the way.
This year, my mantra is: **dream big, act boldly, treasure the small joys, continue to lead with kindness and to have as much empathy as possible for others **. Just a few things...😂
I’m also deeply committed to helping people who follow along to achieve their dreams. I'll be curating captivating interior design inspiration with COCOCOZY that will hopefully give you ideas and dreams for your own space. I will also be empowering you to realize the value of your influence with Chirpyest by earning cash back for sharing and shopping. I hope to be open about the journey of the COCOCOZY product line. I want to share real time behind the scenes how the line is being built and how we are growing Chirpyest; both examples of the not so linear journey of building businesses from the ground up. I hope these stories spark you to push your own boundaries and shake out of your comfort zones.
Lastly, in 2025, I’m committed to surrounding myself with people who have a positive vibe about them while striving to be that same light for others. Luckily, I have a great start on this with an amazing family and fantastic group of friends - a fantastic support network.
My wish for you in 2025: May this year bring you clarity, courage, and the confidence to pursue all that makes you happy.
What’s one thing you’re committing to in 2025? Let’s inspire each other in the comments! 💬❤️
Let's get to this...am ready 2025!
