Who knew wood and marble went so well together? The stools’ dark wood and light brown woven backing complement the gold in the marble countertop. It creates a sort of balance between light and dark. The style of these counter stools also fits the vibe of the overall kitchen space well. The gold sprinkles here and there across the kitchen space add to the warm and cozy look.

If you’re looking for something more simple, these counter stools are a great way to go. Again, we see here how marble and wood can pair well together. In addition to this pairing, the matching marble backsplash also helps bring this entire space together. If you’re into marble, definitely check out light-colored wooden counter stools. As we have shown before, and will show in upcoming pictures, marble countertops and wood make a great pair. But if wood isn’t your thing, don’t worry, we have pictures without that too.

The design of these counter stools is unique. The bamboo structure of these stools and the arch on top gives it a very tropical-esque feeling. That coupled with the flowers and plants sprinkled throughout the kitchen space creates a very welcoming feeling to the place. The shade of the stool matches the base of the kitchen island. This creates a sense of cohesiveness within the space. It stands out because of its unique design, but it also looks like it belongs here. There is a balance of “wow!” without the “this doesn’t look right.”

This is a slightly more modern take on counter and bar stools. The no lumbar support type seating may not be for everyone though. I’d imagine this type of counter stool is more so for quick eats rather than a true dining experience. However, the space and design are beautiful nonetheless. Everything is very minimalistic and modern, creating a cohesive and beautiful kitchen space. If you’re going for this type of style, definitely check out backless stools.

Here is another example of a backless counter stool. These kinds of styles of stools are very minimalistic and modern. The style of the black stools is very simple, however, it does still match the vibe and style of the space. The darkness of the stools pops out against white light-colored wood. Sometimes less is more. Again, this stool is great for having a quick meal but I wouldn’t suggest having a dinner here or a long meal here.

If you’re looking for ultimate comfort, this counter stool is it! These big cushioned seats with a soft back to match will provide great lumbar support while dining. The white cushions and wood structures pair amazingly with the marble countertop and light wood base. The entire kitchen space consists of shades of white and light brown wood. If you’re going for a modern look with your kitchen, you can never go wrong with white and light-colored wood. This is just one example of how you can use neutrals to create an amazing dining space.

Blue is a great way to add some color to your kitchen. They also pair really well with a cool-toned marble countertop. The blue fuzzies on the chair make kind of a statement piece. It’s a unique feature for a counter stool to have. Yet, this style doesn’t overpower the entirety of the kitchen. It simply adds to the aesthetic of it. Having the color of your stools match the color of the walls, countertops, or backsplash area is a good way to create an overarching theme for the space.
