TILE FILE: MOSAIC MADNESS!

black, white and grey geometric mosaic tile at Ann Sacks

Okay…so I love a good mosaic marble tile in black, gray and white. Love.   Here are just a few beauties on the bolder side that I spotted at Ann Sacks a few weeks ago. Pure eye candy to me.

If I had my druthers and I would tile everything in the home with marble mosaics…floors, walls, ceilings, furntiure, sofas (can one tile a cushion?), accessories, lighting…anything I could get my hands on…I would tile it all…no surface would be safe!!!! Let’s do it. Yes! Go tile. Go mosaic tile. Go. Go. Go. Mosaic Madness indeed (forget March Madness that guys are obsessed with…I vote that we have a Mosaic Madness month…woot woot…!! Who do I talk to about getting this on the U.S. calendar?)!

Okay…deep breath…have calmed myself. In reality, I do know that too much of anything can be a bad thing even with gorgeous mosaics. The bottom line is…I may not tile EVERYTHING but I would definitely strategically use these stunning marble mosaics to add wonderful visual texture to a space. They run between $250-400 a square foot. That being said…I clearly would not be tiling everything.

Which of these do you like?  Any…?  I think I like the second one best.  I would use on a bathroom floor.  Oh if only…

Happy Thursday!

These are great, I would pass on the third..it’s just a little too reflective… My pick would be either the first or second..

I love door #2 as well! The others, not so much. Anne Sacks has stunning tile products of every kind. Just beautiful! And as you say, a little can go a long way.
    Cheers!

Mmmm… You had me at Ann Sacks Tile. 🙂 My fave is the one just above the flowered mosaic, the one with a white background and large iridescent circles linked together like jewelry.

For my own home, I’d love to do a mosaic floor in the Master Bath. For a client, how cool would it be to tile a groin-vaulted ceiling in an entrance hall with Ann Sacks mosaic tile? Kind of a Moroccan flair but toned down with a soft, neutral color palette. Yummy!

It is warmer here now, but these were the looks I It is warmer here now, but these were the looks I reached for in Paris when the days were still cold. ❄️
I remember building each outfit around a coat or a scarf, with comfortable shoes that could take me anywhere, knowing I would be out for hours just walking.
Nothing overthought, just pieces that felt right for the pace of the day.
What would be your OOTD for a cold day in Paris?
If you want to shop these looks, comment SHOP and I will send you the link.

It started with an invitation. I met @hugobesnier_ It started with an invitation. I met @hugobesnier_ , founder and designer of luxury furniture brand @hartisparis_ at a small gathering in the 7ème, near the Musée d’Orsay. I was there with my new friends, Scarlette and Sarah.
The apartment itself was incredible! Tall ceilings, terrazzo floors, right along the Seine, but what really stood out was the furniture.
Turns out, it was Hugo's exquisite work.
The pieces are designed around everyday gestures: sitting, leaning, resting, but interpreted in a way that feels elevated and intentional. There’s a balance of structure and softness, where architectural lines meet more organic textures and forms.
He invited me back the next day to see everything more clearly, outside of the party setting, and it completely changed how I experienced it. The pieces feel intentional and refined, with a strong focus on material and form.
Sharing a closer look at his work here.
My Paris dream life keeps happening again and again!
