Love this 900 squarefoot rowhouse in Toronto. A small space was transformed to look large by Canadian design firm Mazen Studio. From what I understand, this home was designed for a man who actually conducted work out of his dining room. The dining room served dual purpose as an office desk and place to eat and entertain. The furnishings have a modern vintage tailored feel to them. While the living room, dining room and kitchen are all within steps of each other, each space is clearly defined.
A large floor mirror near the front door defines the space as the foyer and reflects even more light into the space.

P.S. This weekend was all about our home renovation in Malibu. TE and I spent the weekend running back and forth and making decisions…I’ll try to post about what is up with the house this week.
P.P.S. Celebrated an early Mother’s Day with my mom and sis DS as I will be out of town next weekend. We got her an iPad Air 2. I think she liked it.
P.P.P.S. TE cajoled me into watching that boxing match this weekend with him and his son (who is 21) and his son’s friends. I kept getting off the couch and running out of the room in fear that something terrible would happen. Turned out nothing happened at all…just two guys in shiny boxer shorts dancing around a ring and swinging at air and lots of celebrities siting around a ring. Boring…boring…boring…TE’s delicious grilled burgers and hanging out with TE and the people in the room was definitely the ONLY exciting part of the boxing event. I don’t like the idea of boxing at all…I have always been scared to watch it…there was nothing scary about this boxing match at all…it felt more like watching an ungraceful ballet with the occasional dancers bumping into each other. Curious sport indeed.

Lots of unique storage and space expanding ideas that all of us could use.
I love this little townhouse. That said, those white mid-century style chairs in the living room do not look comfortable!! And they should be when all the sq. footage needs to be usable. (I hate boxing, too.)
