Before & After

Two Rooms – Before and After

October 24, 2016

living room renovation

Found a fabulous before and after of these two rooms – living room and kitchen perfection. This mid-century modern design comes from Lindye Galloway Design.

The living room and kitchen have that laid back southern California vibe and the neutral color palette is so calming. This home feels like a retreat and the perfect upgrade from what the homeowner originally had in the ‘Before’ photos. What I love about these rooms is the way they blend the masculine and feminine so well with things like the wood and leather details and the round mirrors and soft color palette…those creams and greys and blues are speaking to me right now! These rooms are well designed and so well executed…giving me great ideas for my next home….if I ever find one….not that I’m stressed at all about that small life change coming up….

These leather square poufs are amazing…West Elm has these leather square poufs that are a great alternative.

These barstools got me thinking about how you could also incorporate a metal here like these French industrial modern barstools

Love it! Is the framed artwork original or a print?

A masterclass in contemporary wedding event designA masterclass in contemporary wedding event design, every detail feels intentional, layered, and deeply personal.
Designed by @bychenai, a prolific and talented London based wedding and events planner, this wedding is a study in thoughtful design and artful creative direction. We say well done Chenai!
Long tables arranged in a maze-like formation created a striking design, while still allowing 350 guests to move throughout the space. A rich brown and gold palette brought warmth and depth, paired with refined tabletops and lush floral centerpieces.
Location: An ornate and iconic room. Painted Hall at Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich England @orncweddings.
