Join Coco as she navigates between awe-inspiring design inspirations and everyday fashion quandaries, including sharing a hilarious encounter with a neighborhood cleaner. Coco welcomes you to share, explore, and be inspired by everything from trip aspirations to unexpected twists in everyday life.

Morocco Sight Seeing

More photos from Morocco from my sister DS…she got back from Morocco late Thursday evening and is now enjoying Paris! Lucky her! Just some beautiful Moroccan walls and doors for you to enjoy as you head into a hopefully wonderful weekend!

I love the first photo with the carved stone wall with the mosaic tile work on the bottom half. Amazing.

Thanks, sis DS for these photos! I wish I could have been there with you and mom!

Dear readers, where have you always wanted to visit? Where in the world might you want to explore? Do tell!

Happy Saturday!

P.S. Make sure to take a look at yesterday’s post with more gorgeous photos from sis DS to see that gorgeous blue city in Morocco named Chefchaouen.

P.P.S. Also, please follow along on COCOCOZY Pinterest where I’ll share a few more of sis DS’s photos and see the cute “ombre” dip dyed dress I’m loving for summer!  Make sure to follow all of my boards on Pinterest for more ideas and inspiration.

P.P.P.S. Design Non-Sequitur – Fashion dilemma…Going to a red, white and blue party tonight. You have to wear red, white or blue…oy va voy…white is out…red maybe (have some cute red skinny jeans but would want to wear a black top)…will probably end up in something navy (do jeans count?)!

P.P.P.P.S. Mentioned this next bit on COCOCOZY Twitter yesterday. Was at the cleaners dropping off a dress to have the belt reattached yesterday afternoon. I showed it to the tailor at the cleaner…he looked at it…and said it wasn’t worth his time because he is paid per piece. So the tailor handed me a needle and thread. When I looked at the needle and thread like they were foreign objects (I know, I should be a bit more familiar, LOL) he said, “Just put the thread in and do it yourself”!

I stood there with the needle and thread in hand for a bit, a little amused, bemused and surprised, then I threaded the needle and stood at the counter and actually started to sew the belt onto the dress myself. Halfway through, I realized that this job took a little more skill than I had (its a DVF dress with a complicated belt where the end folds over into a bow and that is the part that needs to be sewn back together)…so I sweetly asked the manager if someone could please sew the belt on for me. The manager said yes. I got into my car and chuckled and thought…only in my world would a tailor hand me a needle and thread and say “do it yourself”!

P.P.P.P.P.P.S. If you are headed to Atlanta next week for the Internationl Home Furnishings Mart, please stop by to see me at the Christian Mosso Associates Showroom in Building 1 on the 9th floor. I’ll be there Thursday-Saturday showing off the COCOCOZY Collection!

    Adore the last image.

Is it a formal dressy casual evening? What about a belted long linen blouse with a long skirt (if you have that color combination? Some great jewelry…

Behind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOBehind-the-scenes: Fun work trip to visit the COCOCOZY bedding collection at the Welspun showroom in New York. Met with some buyers, had a fun time with the Welspun team, then capped off the weekend with a visit with friends. It is a long process to get bedding in stores across the country...showing the collections at textiles market is one of the first steps!
If you're interested in learning how I have gotten @cococozy products into stores around the country over the years including in major retailers...follow along...just one entrepreneur's journey. :)

Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celeb Today is my birthday but...I don’t want to celebrate...I want to help.
I want to make a meaningful impact in our greater Los Angeles community suffering from the fires. I invite you to join me in transforming birthday wishes into support for one local organization on the ground in Pasadena/Altadena.
I have made a contribution today already to the LA Fire Relief Fund created by @victorybiblechurch in Pasadena. They are actively assisting families in need in both Pasadena and Altadena who have been affected by the devastating Eaton Fire.
Although I don't have a personal connection to Pastor DeCuir or the church, I was searching for an organization that is helping in the Altadena area. A well respected civil rights attorney I follow @leemerrittesq is on the ground helping the church members and community members with legal services in the wake of the fires. I hope by contributing to their efforts, we can extend a helping hand to those facing significant challenges during this difficult time
To donate, please visit their website at https://vbcpasadena.org/ (link in bio as well). Every contribution, no matter the size, brings hope and relief to those who need it most. Tell them you heard about them from me.
Your generosity to the Los Angeles community is the best birthday gift I could ask for.

Happy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this freshHappy New Year! 🎉✨ As we step into this fresh chapter, I’m reminded of the beauty of starting anew and I like recommitting to goals at the top of the year. Nothing set in stone but just an overall vision of what I'd like to do and who I would hope to help along the way.
This year, my mantra is: **dream big, act boldly, treasure the small joys, continue to lead with kindness and to have as much empathy as possible for others **. Just a few things...😂
I’m also deeply committed to helping people who follow along to achieve their dreams. I'll be curating captivating interior design inspiration with COCOCOZY that will hopefully give you ideas and dreams for your own space. I will also be empowering you to realize the value of your influence with Chirpyest by earning cash back for sharing and shopping. I hope to be open about the journey of the COCOCOZY product line. I want to share real time behind the scenes how the line is being built and how we are growing Chirpyest; both examples of the not so linear journey of building businesses from the ground up. I hope these stories spark you to push your own boundaries and shake out of your comfort zones.
Lastly, in 2025, I’m committed to surrounding myself with people who have a positive vibe about them while striving to be that same light for others. Luckily, I have a great start on this with an amazing family and fantastic group of friends - a fantastic support network.
My wish for you in 2025: May this year bring you clarity, courage, and the confidence to pursue all that makes you happy.
What’s one thing you’re committing to in 2025? Let’s inspire each other in the comments! 💬❤️
Let's get to this...am ready 2025!
