The architecture speaks for itself here. Love this great open loft space in a New York City townhouse. Clean, simple and elegant. As I’ve mentioned before, I am not a huge fan of open kitchens…but this space works…kitchen, dining, living all in one. For me it is the roof pitch slanted floor to ceiling windows that make all of the difference – I LOVE these windows. When I was in graduate school, I lived in a little apartment in D.C. that had floor to ceiling windows and although it was tiny, the windows made the space bigger, brighter and quite charming. If I could live in this townhouse pictured here, I would move back to New York City in minute. Hmmm….
What do you think?

P.S. Running off to an early morning breakfast meeting. Why do I make appointments with people at weird times? I am exhausted and could have used the extra hour of sleep. Note to self, no more morning breakfast appointments!
P.P.S. Thank you to interior designer Andy Goldsborough for allowing me to use photos of spaces he has designed! Fantastic!
When can I move in?? I LOVE this place!
As I am claustrophobic, I would love this……especially in NYC! Great shot too…smiles.
Heaven in a lofty sky rise!(concrete jungle where dreams are made of…)
oh yes! i would LOVE to have windows like this. no doubt!
LOVE it…
My heart just skipped a beat… those windows… uber fab.
Call me crazy…but I would freak out on a daily basis thinking that each window in the building across the street was peering in my windows with binoculars.
Now, if those windows faced a park….I would be all over it!!
that window is freaking awesome and a i kinda like it only if the glass used is tinted
Those windows are intended for an artist ‘s studio…like mine!
Except for the kitchen, it looks like a (public) library reading room.
((gasp !!!)) BREATHTAKING !!!
Love it… In a New York City minute … pretty much covers it…
And for some strange reason I just started humming Empire State of Mind by Alicia Keys.
cheers
Susan
All that light coming in from the windows makes me want to runaway to New York.
Yes, I agree all around. The windows are stunning. Look at the rest of the place as well! Is that a fireplace I see to the left? How charming! And the open kitchen is super cool – rather a new thing in NYC. Gone are the days of pre-war, itty bitty kitchens with attached maid’s rooms. (And yes I was one of those city kids who grew up in a maid’s room and LOVED it!)
Love it, I would move back to!
