Is Wooldon Manor at Gin Lane once owned by the Woolworth family back on the market for $98 million? 10 bedrooms, 12 full baths, 3 partial baths, 12,800 square foot English Tudor style mansion on 15 acres of land in Southampton is listed at $98 million dollars on Sotheby’s Realty website. Although it was reported that in 2013 the home sold for $75 million dollars. Curious? If you are in the market for an English Tudor oceanfront mansion right on the beach with tennis courts and a theater and gardens and so much more…maybe call the real estate agents and ask?
The home was most recently owned by shoe mogul Vince Camuto. He allegedly sold it last year. Did he or didn’t he? That is the question.
Regardless if it is on the market or snapped up….here is a little tour…
To see the full listing on Sotheby’s website, click here. Now I normally ask the question, if you were given this estate would you take it. This is the one time I would probably pass. While it is quite an impressive piece of property…I’m not an English Tudor type of girl so it might take another $100 million to update it to my taste. Oh the worries of first world folks…whether or not to hypothetically take a $100 million dollar house or not…will try to concentrate on more important things today to make up for these musings and watching every episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and now Orange County…someone save me from myself….help. 🙂
Happy Tuesday!

I’m in heaven after visually touring this Tudor house and seeing the bird’s-eye view. I’d love to live there. I may have been Queen Elizabeth I, now living in the 21st century, but it’s my kind of modern place! I’ll hold a pageant if and when I move in.
