SEE THIS POOL HOUSE!

Exterior of a stone pool house

Adore this little stone pool house with interiors fashioned by renowned Atlanta designer Phoebe Howard. Could this little nest and poolside retreat be just as cute as any home. I think so.

The high beamed ceilings are amazing in the living room.  The wine barrel chandelier, the slate floors, diamond patterned tone on tone white rug and the cozy furnishings make the living space so inviting. The two toned counters in the kitchen and the pebble mosaic floor there are just darling…LOVE LOVE LOVE this little cottage!  Love the drapery choice…but could also see some COCOCOZY Plaid Solid drapery panels working in this space too…I’ll have to call Phoebe and see if she’ll do a curtain switch out…clearly need Phoebe to use COCOCOZY in her next pool house!!!

Living room in a pool house with high beamed ceiling, wine barrel chandelier, slate floors, diamond patterned white rug, blue armchairs, a white sofas, graphic print curtains, a white coffee table and one brown armchair
Close up of a white cabinet in a pool house with glass door
Kitchen in a pool house with a pebble floor, blue and white cabinets and drawers, stainless appliances and a small pedant light
Bathroom with pebble floor, wall mounted lantern and a console sinks made of wood and marble
Foyer with navy and white graphic print curtain, stone floor, lantern, visible beams and a high ceiling

What do you think of this pool house?  Would any of you want to make this backyard retreat a home?  I would.

Happy Wednesday!

Three things stand out: that swoon worthy herringbone tile layout (and it’s slate too!), the cute retro kitchen (I even like the pebbly floor), and the curtain fabric. Very nice!

Every room treats art and objects with the same weight as furniture, nothing is decorative for its own sake, everything is placed with intention.
The Haussmannian bones, ornate cornicing, herringbone parquet, original stained glass ceiling, stay intact throughout. Natural and handcrafted materials do the rest.

This new collection feels like such a beautiful evolution. Inspired by their Manhattan Flower District showroom, it brings together the romance of classic decorative arts with a fresh, modern perspective in a way that feels bold, artistic, and incredibly thoughtful.
If you are attending ICFF 2026, make sure to stop by Booth W1048 and experience Petal Promenade in person. Congratulations, Kristi and Wendy. This collection is truly something special. ✨
