Okay so even though I’m in the midst of vacation planning, dreaming of Spanish courtyards and cafes, I’m also focusing on sprucing up my little cottage and one way I’ve loved doing that is with some decorative trays…they can be as simple or ornate as you want for any room in the house. Wooden or lacquered or lucite trays…all of them are so fun and versatile. I use decorative trays for entertaining to carry out appetizers, signature cocktails, or other party essentials….I also love to use them on coffee tables or atop dressers, displaying my favorite current reads, an Anthropologie candle and a cute plant. They allow opportunities to show off your personality and who doesn’t want that for their home??
Depending on the size of the tray, they are also great for displaying perfume bottles or even a few pieces of your favorite jewelry…confession, sometimes there’s so.much.jewelry you can’t actually see the tray…but no one else needs to know that…;)

Wooden trays are my favorite, but all of these were pretty! Thanks for the inspiration, I am planning on using trays to display my perfumes and other stuff after we renovate our apartment.
