7 Nail Trimmed Headboards

I am constantly dreaming up the next iteration of my bedroom furniture and recently I re-discovered my love for the Nail Trimmed Headboard. It’s clean, minimal, and depending on the shape, it’s just the right blend of feminine lines and masculine detail. This idea took me down a path I couldn’t return from..a good two hour detour in my day researching, designing, and plotting out how to get a beautiful new nail trimmed headboard into my home in the Hollywood Hills (there are some logistics to consider when you live on a one-way street, mostly up hill, and fairly narrow..perfect conditions for a delivery truck am I right??)

Take a peek at these other nail trimmed headboards and share your favorites with me! Anyone else in the mood for a redesign?

So this might not be a true Nail Trimmed Headboard but isn’t this Tufted Headboard with Nails is such a regal look??

This bedroom make-over may start sooner than I think!

I love that grey headboard against the darker grey background. Our bedroom is reds and golds right now and while I love it I’m so ready for a change and this has inspired me to move ahead. Great post. Thanks so much.

I love nailed trimmed headboards as well. My favorite is the first one.

Want a bedroom that feels cozy, warm, and invitingWant a bedroom that feels cozy, warm, and inviting? Start with these simple changes:
1. Layer your bedding. Mix sheets, a duvet, quilts, and throw blankets to create that plush, lived-in look.
2. Add warm lighting. Swap harsh overhead lighting for bedside lamps, sconces, or a statement light with a warm glow.
3. Bring in plenty of texture. Think linen, velvet, boucle, chunky knits, and soft rugs.
4. Keep the palette warm and calming. Soft neutrals, earthy tones, and muted colors instantly make a room feel more restful.
5. Mix in natural materials. Wood, rattan, woven accents, and stone add warmth and character.
6. Make the walls feel personal. Art, photographs, or even a statement headboard can make the room feel more finished.
7. Add something organic. A vase of branches, fresh flowers, or a little greenery can bring the room to life.
The goal isn’t to make your bedroom perfect. It’s to make it feel like a place you actually want to retreat to at the end of the day.
Save this for your next bedroom refresh. 🤎

The right chandelier doesn’t just light a room, it becomes the room. Scale, material, placement. When it’s done right, everything else arranges itself around it.

Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive.Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive. 🌸
One thing I’ve learned is that every outdoor space needs a focal point. It gives your eye a place to land and makes the whole space feel more intentional.
In this courtyard, the bougainvillea naturally becomes that focal point, adding color, height, and movement without overwhelming the space.
If you’re designing your own patio or garden, start with one standout feature, then let everything else support it.
Save this tip for your next outdoor project. ✨
