A modern bathroom design that I’d have no problem enjoying a relaxing bath in. Love how the black tub is complemented by the black accent wall.

This stunning bathroom can be found inside a charming home in Italy’s remote village of Giuggianello. I love the idea of enjoying a relaxing bath with a view of the gorgeous garden. Fun fact: The cast-iron tub was picked up on a Rome street. Not a bad find, right?!

These fish scale floors paired with the gold accents from the claws and mirror are everything! I could use some rest and relaxation in this room right about now!

A little fun fact, Jenna Lyons (former creative director and president for J.Crew) started the trend way back when she showed off the tub in her former Brooklyn brownstone. Ā Somehow she modernized the tub in one design swoop! Now the two-toned tub is a staple… Iām in.

Ok, ok, I know I said I was focusing on black and white clawfoot tubs… but how beautiful is this light teal and white combination?!

This en suite French bathroom is oh, so glamorous! TheĀ polished nickel vintage style claws are perfect with theĀ gray clawfoot bathtub and nickel and glass etagere.

This tub technically isn’t two-tone as it’s white on the inside and bottom, but I would be remiss not to include this beauty with fabulous gold details. I could run a bath with a glass of wine right now!

Simple and unfinished, yet very welcoming! The all white room and subway tiling makes the black tub pop.

While you’re here, I think these bath time essentials (below) will pair perfectly with any clawfoot tub!
I understand that people have strong feelings about the two-tone clawfoot tub style — some are totally into it while others, not so much. Iām trusting my gut on this as Iāve already purchased a tub (no turning back now!), but Iām curious to know what others think.
So, thoughts?? Give me a shout!
xo,
You can’t go wrong on this one Coco!!
Love the two tone clawfoot tubs. It looks like black and white seem to be the most popular, but for me, a beautiful verbena green would make me very happy! I’ve seen one and it was lovely. Go with the two-tone and choose the color that makes you happy.
