I’m a sucker for a glorious archway, and the ones in this Tuscan villa do not disappoint. Almost every exterior and interior entryway features the beautiful circular arch that is timelessly popular in Italian architecture. As I scrolled through the listing, I couldn’t help but admire the craftsmanship and attention to detail. They serve as a magnificent introduction to each room, and the entire home, creating a seamless flow and adding a touch of classic elegance to the overall ambiance of the space. The arches not only enhance the villa’s architectural charm but also evoke a sense of sophistication that is essential Tuscany. Whether stepping into the lush green outdoors of the property or exploring the intimate entryway, these archways add magic that transport you back to the 15th century.
I love the mismatched tile and green shutters that invite you into the home. But, the archways, paired with that beautiful mosaic ceiling, is alluring and whimsical. This front entryway has so much character and class that can only be credited to the historical villa itself.
The intricate tile is something that cannot be missed, and paired with the columns makes this front room true Italian grandeur. Although the room itself is gorgeous, if you glance up these archways are so eye-catching. From the curvature in the hallway to the arches off the stairs, they truly create a mesmerizing and breathtaking picture.
Elaborate Ceilings
Elaborate ceilings are a feature that never fails to captivate me, and this Tuscan villa exceeds all expectations. Each room reveals a breathtaking display of artistry, as intricate designs grace every ceiling on the property. From beautifully painted molding to meticulously carved coffered ceilings, these are true works of art that are true to the classic style of Tuscany. I can’t get enough!
One of my favorite rooms in the villa is this living area. That fireplace and the marble floors are unlike anything I have ever seen! When paired with the beautiful wood doors, this room is perfect. But the look up, and the wooden coffered ceiling takes it to the next level. Originated by 7th-century Romans, this historic Italian look transcends into this home! I obviously love it!
I had to include a close-up image of the painted molding in the parlor. The opulent golds paired with the light purple and green adds classical fun to the space. This, alongside the intricate curled details is elegant and jaw-dropping. I have never seen something this beautiful in a home. The plus side, it’s historic to the building!
Bright Master Suite
I love a good master suite. A place to relax after a day exploring the quaint areas in Florence on Via Bolognese. I imagine myself winding down here in this Tuscan villa. Obviously, the master needs a redesign but one that appeals to the classic fixtures of the building. The thought of stepping into a new beautifully designed room makes me giddy!
These windows are perfect. The amount of natural light that enters this room really brightens the overall space. My favorite part of this master suite is the wood ceiling. It’s so traditional yet exciting adding a new dynamic to the room. Also, I can’t ignore the tile floors. Talk about the perfect Italian room!
Traditional Hedge Maze
Hedge mazes scream luxury, and these are no exception. The magnificent hedge mazes on this property extend throughout the 9-acre property and lead to a beautiful stone fountain. Talk about the perfect secret garden! Obviously, I had to include these as they really elevate the exterior of this property. An Italian villa getaway is nothing without traditional Tuscan fields!
This is lush and is perfectly nestled against the trees, perfectly enveloping the fountain. These play the perfect opportunity to get lost in the beauty of the property and relax in the sun. The attention to detail is remarkable and add even more seclusion to the villa. I am in awe!
The hedge maze leads straight to this marvelous stone fountain. It’s like a little hidden gem just waiting to be discovered. The perfect spot to pause and take in the natural beauty around you. With a little TLC, this could be returned to its former glory!
