$40 MILLION STAR STUDDED LOS ANGELES ESTATE

January 21, 2015
  • Share

From super models, to football stars to music moguls… this Los Angeles estate has a star studded history even though it is only a few years old.

Giselle Bündchen and Tom Brady’s Eco-Mansion

Before their marriage, Gisele Bündchen and her NFL star quarterback husband, Tom Brady fell in love with a plot of land in Los Angeles. They bough the four-acre lot with gorgeous Pacific Ocean views for $11 million dollars. They hired Richard Landry as their architect to build their eco-friendly mansion. Interior designer Joan Behnke worked with Gisele and Tom for four years. The finished the home in about 2012.

Richard Landry, after completing Bündchen and Brady’s Los Angeles estate, became known as the King of the Megamansion.” Mark Wahlberg, inspired by the striking architectural design of Bündchen’s Brentwood mansion, hired Landry for his own Los Angeles estate. Wahlberg’s 30,000 square-foot estate sold for $55 million dollars.

Dr. Dre Bought the Brentwood Estate for $40 Million

In 2013, super model Bündchen opened the doors of Los Angeles estate to a major design magazine. In 2014, after Brady and Bündchen sold the house to rapper turned business mogul, Dr. Dre, for a reported $40 million dollars.

The 18,298 square feet of living space includes a center hall, a den, a study, a gym, a sauna, five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, loggias, covered terraces, balconies and garage space. There are seven fireplaces. What’s more, there is even a bridge with a moat and a lagoon-style swimming pool.

With the home’s movie theater, pool, mini-gold course, and now Dr. Dre’s addition of an underground recording studio, there are so many activities for Dr. Dre and his family.

Check out these pictures of the Brentwood estate now decorated by Dr. Dre and his family found on the designer’s site.

Thought you might want to take a look!

I hope Dr. Dre enjoys the home and the views! I wonder which star will own this home next!

Best,

I wonder what is up next for the Brady Family? Maybe a little bit smaller?
    Thanks for the fun.

I wonder how Dr. Dre will decorate this home differently than Gisele. Now there’s a story.

A masterclass in contemporary wedding event designA masterclass in contemporary wedding event design, every detail feels intentional, layered, and deeply personal.
Designed by @bychenai, a prolific and talented London based wedding and events planner, this wedding is a study in thoughtful design and artful creative direction. We say well done Chenai!
Long tables arranged in a maze-like formation created a striking design, while still allowing 350 guests to move throughout the space. A rich brown and gold palette brought warmth and depth, paired with refined tabletops and lush floral centerpieces.
