Denim skirts are the answer to my summer fashion blues…literally. I wanted a summer look that was sophisticated and on trend but still relevant for the season and I found it in this denim skirt craze…if my girl Olivia Palermo can wear denim on denim then I’m all for trying it. What do we think about the Front Button look?? I love this one from Madewell, online at least but I would pair it with some high stilettos and a clutch and maybe a loose blouse like the one below. Sophisticated, casual, sexy…and a little unexpected. Done.
The shorter denim skirts are great too…slightly reminiscent of the 90s in a way that is cool now instead of out of style. You know my love for Rag & Bone…they have some great denim skirts that are shorter and paired with some gladiator sandals or even some slip on vans…street chic!
This is such a fabulous fashion must have and really can transition well even into fall…more on that later though…for now we are all about this summer look.
