Starting this Monday off as bright as possible with this fabulous Modern Rustic California Home. I found this home after discovering it was designed by one of the best design firms in Southern California…Michael and Alexandra Misczynski, owners of Atelier AM. They have so brilliantly blended romantic European textures, stones, old-worldliness, with the modern American lines and open air floor plans that we love. Really such great work from these two…and somehow they manage to stay happily married on top of owning a business together (I think That might be the bigger accomplishment here.) Anywhoo…this California home is one of my favorites, it’s bright, elegant, minimalist but still so rich with textures. The stone accents throughout are incredible…I never wished for a stone coffee table or entry table more until touring this home. Can we also just take a pause for these steel windows and front door…what a first impression, I mean honestly…what I love most is that this home feels well designed and put together but still able to be lived in and welcoming. It is open and expansive but inviting and comfortable. A work of art in my opinion…
