6 Pretty Pink Rooms Round Up – Interior Inspiration

March 23, 2022
  • Share

Is pink the new gray in interior design? Back in June, I did a post about pink interiors. Now it’s March and I’m seeing a rise of pink hues on my Instagram feed. It’s not everyone’s go-to color when decorating their home. However, pink can transform a space in various ways. Use lighter hues for a more elegant and chic look. If you want something rich and sophisticated, then go for a deep pink/reddish hue.

The room above was designed by my friends @bexmarie + @raskindphoto of Renouveau Hom. They renovated a Spanish-style home in Leimert Park. The home is full of life with vibrant patterns and colors. It’s a fun home to explore because it’s unlike anything you’ve seen in Los Angeles. The house feels playful and whimsical without being overwhelming. The pink bathroom is one of my favorite rooms in the house. The combination of different pink tones and rose gold fixtures makes for the perfect bathroom design.

Paris Forino designed this home for Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing star Fredrik Eklund, his husband Derek Kaplan, and their family. Eklund wanted a fun and neutral-toned space for their young kids to live in. He took a different approach with his idea of “neutral” by using pale blush tones throughout his home. Forino and Eklund continued the pale pink color palette in the kitchen. They took the kitchen design a step further by adding a custom blue L’Atelier Paris range and copper finishes. The kitchen is the heart of the home. Eklund wanted the kitchen to be a happy and beautiful place for his family to enjoy.

The team at 2LG Studio created this pink dreamy bathroom in a London Victorian home. It features classic brush nickel finishes and large pink matte tiles. The design feels very contemporary, but compliments the Victorian style of the home.

A cool and contemporary bedroom. Interior designer Emilie Lemardeley added pink furniture to compliment the bold pink arch. The statement wall is a nice pop of color that gives, what would’ve been a gray bedroom, some personality. The wall tapestry is by French artist, Robert Debiéve.

Ruthie Sommers’ designed a beautiful dining area that features blush walls. It feels very feminine and elegant. I wouldn’t mind having lunch here with my friends. The chairs are from Lulu & Georgia.

Pink and blush tones (when used right) can be beautiful in home design. Pink softens any modern space. I’ve been seeing the feminine hue all over my feed and thought I would share it with all of you. It’s a nice change from neutral modern aesthetics.

This Haussmannian apartment sits directly facing N This Haussmannian apartment sits directly facing Notre-Dame on the Left Bank, and @double_g_interior_design designed the interior to match that setting without competing with it. ✨
The approach was deliberate restraint: restored cornices kept intact, stained oak floors, limestone tones, a mix of vintage furniture and contemporary silhouettes. Every choice earning its place. The light does the rest. Bouncing off mirrors, moving through the neutral walls across the day. 🔅
→ Save this if you’re working with a Haussmannian space and want to let the architecture lead.

That level of control is what makes the result so specific. Rich materials, sculptural forms, cinematic lighting but nothing feels decorative for its own sake. Every detail was considered as part of one complete vision, and you feel it in every room. ✨

Natural light is the one thing every room has in c Natural light is the one thing every room has in common here, but the window shape, wall material, and time of day make each one feel like an entirely different experience. ☀️
It’s a reminder that light isn’t just a condition in a room. It’s a design decision.

This 300-year-old Belgian château redesigned by a This 300-year-old Belgian château redesigned by a French interior designer and architect, Nathan Litera @nathanlitera is a beautiful reminder that good design isn’t about replacing the past, but learning how to live with it. You see it in the preserved millwork, the original fireplaces, the parquet floors, and then in the quiet contrast of contemporary lighting, cleaner silhouettes, and restrained color.
The magic is in the balance. The newer pieces don’t compete with the architecture. They feel intentional, calm, and completely at ease. Nothing is overly styled. Nothing distracts. History stays front and center while the space still feels entirely livable today.
Here’s how to bring that same feeling into your own home:
* Keep your base timeless — neutral walls, classic materials, architectural details if you have them
* Let contrast do the work — modern lighting or furniture against traditional bones instantly updates a space
* Edit your palette — keep colors within a tight range and let texture and form do the talking
* Invest in materials — marble, wood, plaster. They age beautifully and never feel out of place
It’s not about recreating a château. It’s about understanding the feeling that quiet kind of luxury that doesn’t need to announce itself.
Save this for when you want your space to feel layered, timeless, and truly considered. ✨
