9 Beautiful Backsplash Ideas – Get Inspired

February 15, 2022
  • Share

You all know that I love scrolling through Instagram for inspiration. This time I came across a few different kitchens that featured a beautiful backsplash. Designers have been creatively incorporating unique tiles and materials to decorate their kitchens. A backsplash can take a kitchen from boring to spectacular. I pulled some of my favorites that use different materials in their backsplashes. A mixture of mosaic tile, ceramic tile, subway tile, natural stone, and so many options. Take a look…if you’re having a creative block, then hopefully this will spark some inspiration for you.

That being said, here is my backsplash idea guide.

Natural stone or marble backsplashes elevate a kitchen to give a more luxurious appearance. Marble is costly so try a dupe like quartz.

I haven’t made a blog about backsplashes in a while. In fact, I think that the last blog post I created about backsplashes was 2017! Well, I hope this updated version has helped you get inspired. I have no design or renovation plans for the future. Comment if you are currently remodeling your home or you have plans to! I would love to hear what you guys are doing!

A blank wall isn’t neutral, it’s a missed opportunity. The right piece doesn’t just fill space, it gives a whole room a reason to exist.

The spaces that get it right pair it with warm oak, aged brass, and something worn-in: an antique dresser, a vintage runner, a hand-thrown vase.

Heidi Caillier Design took this historic San Francisco home and layered floral wallpaper, striped drapery, checked linens, and antique textiles room after room without a single one feeling overdone. Marble mantels, gilt mirrors, brass fixtures, and warm wood floors do the quiet work of holding it all together.

A great bathroom isn’t just functional, it’s the one room in the house that’s entirely yours. The stone you choose, the way light hits the fixtures, the tub you actually want to sit in. These are the ones that get it exactly right.
Save this for your next bathroom renovation inspo and follow for more. 🖤
