A BEDROOM IN TURQUOISE TOILE AND TOLE!

Bedroom with white tole faux bamboo chandelier, a daybed with rose and white tolie headboard and a turquoise painted wall
A white tole faux bamboo chandelier hangs above a daybed with a dusty rose pink and white toile print upholstered headboard…all with the backdrop of a clean turquoise painted wall.(above)

Turquoise paint, a toile headboard and a tole chandelier…that’s all it takes to make a cute room. Dotting a few i’s and crossing all t’s in this room!

I like this little girl’s room in a San Francisco house from interior design firm Massucco Warner Miller. I think the unadorned turquoise feature wall provides a great backdrop for all of the elements in the room including the narrow built-in shelves that frame the daybed.

My favorite piece in the room is of course the glossy white painted tole chandelier. I love this. They add a simple form of glam to any room.

Bedroom with silhouette printed throw pillows match that match the pink and white toile upholstered headboard and turquoise pillows match the wall
Silhouette printed throw pillows match the toile upholstered headboard and turquoise pillows match the wall…wonderfully coordinated.(above)

What do you think of this room?

Hope you have a nice Monday!

I adore this room – so cute for a little girl but certainly one that can grow with her. What pre-teen or teenager wouldn’t love this. Heck, I love this! Marija

That’s terrific built-in daybed thing. And I like the idea of a soft headboard that can double as a seat back.

LOVE this room! What’s also great about it is you can easily change out the fabric and color combo and a few other small tweaks and make it more boy-appropriate or gender neutral. This image is definitely going in my file of favorites!

Great minds then. I was just browsing Massucco Warner Miller’s site last week and found this room and loved it. I was also going to show a green dining room…is that in TradHome too?

This is a very cute idea for a studio (which is oddly enough my favorite type of living space. The built-ins on either side and give it a shape that complemets the headboard. Very cute for any age including adult… hmmm I know i had some toile around here somewhere. 🙂

I love it – actually, I love it so much I’ve decided to use this as a template for my studio apartment. I’ve been struggling with how to design the sleeping area in one large room – and this is PERFECT!

This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millo This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millory @felixmillory , is defined by two things: a tightly controlled material palette and a sculptural art collection that runs through every room without exception.
Travertine frames every doorway. Dark smoked oak covers the joinery and cabinetry. Grey marble runs across the kitchen counters and island. Within that framework, figurative sculptures on the shelves, a large totemic piece at the entrance, stone forms on the dining table, a large-format artwork in the kitchen. Every room has at least one object that demands your attention. 🗿
