A happy breakfast nook in yellow and white features built in banquette seating with a playful ikat fabric on cushions, a Le Klint pendant light, Bertoia chairs and a white rectangular table with a Saarinen base. (above)

Keeping it simple is key. Love this cheery breakfast nook. Some simple use of fabric as seat cushions, the addition of some timeless classics as far as furniture and throwing in just a few dashes of coordinating art and accessories can make a dining area like this just the perfect space for eating in.

Here are some pieces that might help you pull this look together in your own home!

The Harry Bertoia looks great, but with the padding it’s like sitting on a BBQ. 🙂

This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millo This St Germain apartment, designed by Félix Millory @felixmillory , is defined by two things: a tightly controlled material palette and a sculptural art collection that runs through every room without exception.
Travertine frames every doorway. Dark smoked oak covers the joinery and cabinetry. Grey marble runs across the kitchen counters and island. Within that framework, figurative sculptures on the shelves, a large totemic piece at the entrance, stone forms on the dining table, a large-format artwork in the kitchen. Every room has at least one object that demands your attention. 🗿
