A HOMEMADE FLOWER ARRANGEMENT

Flower arrangement with red Gerber daisies and green roses

MY “THANK YOU FOR HOLIDAY GOOD WISHES”!
Busy and wonderful holiday!

Had family over on Christmas Eve (made a full dinner including homemade pies) and ran around on Christmas Day visiting family…a fantastic holiday but I am pooped!

As I sit at home today…trying to motivate…I’ve been looking at this little last minute flower arrangement I made a few days back. In my holiday prep frenzy, I ran to the store and just grabbed two bunches of flowers and some piney greens not knowing what I would do with them. When I got home, I realized I only had one really good vase…I guess I have broken or thrown away all of the others (oops)…so I had to mash all of the flowers into one arrangement…and here it is!

The Flowers’ Purpose

The flowers served their purpose for the entertaining I had to do…and today…I thought I’d share this with you as a thank you of sorts.

Over the last few days, I’ve gotten so many many nice emails from readers who say they have enjoyed Cococozy and who had so many nice wishes for me for the New Year.

Thank you darling readers! The same holiday and New Year’s good wishes right back at you…!

The dark shelving on the right hand side of this picture looks lovely. Do you have any more pictures of the piece?

Hi Marcos..It is a rustic arched shelf with glass doors and two lower drawers…I think it is dark stained mahogany. Very rough texture to the wood. I have two of them…one for books and one for china. They are perfect in size for my tiny space but would also do well in a grand space. I got them years ago from some weird place near the Los Angeles river on San Fernando Road (it was a furniture dealer who had a warehouse near the river and I ventured out to his storage area). Will take a picture of them one day and definitely share with readers!

From the 8 sq ft view of your lovedly home, it must be a wonderfully cheerful place to be. When are you going to give your fans a full tour of it?

Thank you for the inspiration that you give to all of us, Coco. Have a fabulous 2010.

Did you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-ÉlyséeDid you know one Sunday a month, the Champs-Élysées closes to traffic entirely?
No cars. Just people, walking straight down the center with the Arc de Triomphe ahead. Then I walked home over The Seine. It had just rained, and the sky was doing something extraordinary. And of course, the Eiffel Tower showed up right on cue.
Paris on a quiet Sunday is something else. 🖤
