What does your beach bag say about you? A successful beach trip requires more than just the right destination. If you’re going to have a fun day at the beach, then you will need all of the essentials. There’s nothing worse than forgetting something and not realizing it until it’s too late. That’s why the COCOCOZY team is going to teach you how to pack your beach bag for maximum fun this summer.

The Perfect Tote

The best accessory for the beach is the perfect tote. There are many shapes, styles, colors, and patterns to choose from that will become your summer staple. The trendy woven straw bags are always a classic. Or you can find an oversized canvas bag which is essential for moms with a lot of stuff to carry. The key to the perfect beach bag is functionality. Can you carry it comfortably from the car to the beach? Does it have enough zipper compartments to fit all of your beach beauty basics? These are all questions you should consider before you make your next purchase.

Organize Your Beach Accessories

Are you one of those people who make a checklist while you pack? Favorite book? Check. Your must-have Bluetooth speaker? Check. Now you need a place to organize everything. Rummaging around your tote is annoying. It’s easier to separate items into different pouches. Pull out your specific pouch knowing that exactly what you need is inside. Fill one pouch with sunscreen and other beauty essentials. The other pouch can be used for tech accessories. You can even have a pouch for misc. items like snacks, medicine, toys, and drinks.

The best accessory to bring to the beach is a new book. There’s nothing better than relaxing on the beach and escaping into a new story. Check out Chirpyest‘s list of amazing summer reads on the blog.

We spoke about my challenges in starting my new company Chirpyest, a new commerce platform democratizing the world of influence. His three takeaways are great career advice for anyone. Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive.Summer is when this courtyard really comes alive. 🌸
One thing I’ve learned is that every outdoor space needs a focal point. It gives your eye a place to land and makes the whole space feel more intentional.
In this courtyard, the bougainvillea naturally becomes that focal point, adding color, height, and movement without overwhelming the space.
If you’re designing your own patio or garden, start with one standout feature, then let everything else support it.
Save this tip for your next outdoor project. ✨

Design by @covetnoir. A 1750 Georgian home in Surr Design by @covetnoir. A 1750 Georgian home in Surrey, restored back to its former grandeur.
Grade II listed and stripped of most of its original character by previous owners, this 9,000 sqft home with seven bedrooms, and five bathrooms was brought back to life for a French-Swedish couple raising two young kids here. The brief: Parisian luxe with a Scandinavian twist, and a design calm enough to keep the grand proportions feeling intimate.
Covet Noir rebuilt what had been lost: full plasterwork, raised & fielded panels, a bespoke decorative ceiling, and added a cantilevered limestone staircase with Nero Marquina cabochon inlay in the entrance hall. The material palette leans into marble and alabaster, softened with boucle and brushed cottons, chosen to hold up to two kids and two dogs without losing the elegance. Antique furniture and architectural fittings were sourced throughout to keep the project sustainable, alongside ground source heating.
Grand bones, calm hand. This is the kind of restoration we could look at all day. 🤍

A great vaulted ceiling doesn’t just add height. It changes how a room feels entirely. The best ones make you stop, look up, and never want to leave.

Before you start moving furniture, ask yourself thBefore you start moving furniture, ask yourself these three questions:
Does this improve the room’s function?
Does it create a better focal point?
Does it make the space easier to walk through?
If the answer is “no” to all three, maybe it’s just the rearranging itch talking. 😅
Save this for the next time you’re tempted to move every piece of furniture in your house.

A 90s home in Amman, Jordan, entirely remodelled by local artisans. Neo-Florentine bones, Levant-eclectic sensibility, arched passageways, and a flea-market-meets-commissioned-art collection that makes every wall feel intentional.
What makes it work: restraint where you’d expect excess, and boldness where you’d expect safety.
This is what happens when a home is built by people who actually know the place. 🖤
Save this, it’s a masterclass in culturally rooted design.
