Ceramic tile liners and trim pieces line the wall behind a luxe double washstand with black countertops and nickel finishes. (above)
Here’s a way to add visual interest and texture to a tiled wall. Forget the traditional use of subway tiles or mosaics…!
Love this wall. Love the floor to ceiling use of ceramic trim pieces and liners instead of just plain traditional tile.
Hmmm….good idea I think!
Pounded copper oval sink with a nickel finish adds sparkle to this washbasin! (above)

A really great idea!!The look is wonderful, very artistic.
VERY cool. I wonder how it would look though in a smaller bathroom if it would just look busy. I have been thinking about ‘green’ solutions and this might be one if you could find small amounts of different trim pieces reclaimed. It gives a very original look.
My friend Charlotte, a design aficianado, asked the same question about whether this idea might be too busy in a small bathroom. If these trim pieces were on every wall, I would say yes way too busy. If only on one feature wall I would say…it would work nicely – adding visual interest and texture (similar to wallpaper or a mosaic tile wall for example).
Love the copper pounded oval sink. Really stunning!
I had a very difficult time choosing which of the many fabulous trims out there to use on my bathroom renovation. This would have solved my delinma. All of them! Love it.
