I like this headboard. A mahogany lacquered Chinoiserie headboard. Would certainly make a bright statement in a bedroom. If I were designing around this headboard, I would keep the rest of the decor in the bedroom simple. Pale gray walls, crisp all white bedding, a few lucite nightstands, simple white milk glass table lamps with shades with just a tiny thin barely perceptible red trim around the bottom.
Could be cute.
Oh, this is definitely not a piece do to be taken lightly. You would definitely have to commit…it is over $10,000! So you have to really love it and know you are going to love it for years…maybe even decades!
Is this statement headboard something you could live with for years and years and love? What do you think?
