interiorsI like a good “before and after” post. The whole fun of seeing a well designed room or home is checking out what it looked like before someone took care and time to make it look awesome. See this Bethesda, Maryland home designed by Ella Scott Design as case in point. A once drib drab traditional interior that looked like it was designed in the 1970s was updated to look modern fresh and livable. BEFORE – The home’s staircase was very traditional and dark.
AFTER – the foyer is modernized with new railings, light white paint and black shiny front door.
BEFORE – The family room and kitchen were painted a drab green with matching decor.
AFTER – The kitchen was freshened up with more white paint and striking dark lower cabinets.
