See this Bethesda, Maryland home designed by Ella Scott Design as case in point. A once drib drab traditional interior that looked like it was designed in the 1970s was updated to look modern fresh and livable. High contrast, brightened up and tailored finishes make this updated space top notch. You won’t believe what this home looked like before Ella Scott Design worked on it…take a look…
BEFORE – The home’s staircase was very traditional and dark.
AFTER – the foyer is modernized with new railings, light white paint and black shiny front door.
BEFORE – The family room and kitchen were painted a drab green with matching decor.
AFTER – The kitchen was freshened up with more white paint and striking dark lower cabinets.
