It is Monday morning and I am exhausted. Just got back from a magical trip to New Orleans visiting best of friend FF and her hubby CCF and my godson CGF. I will post more about that visit later in the week.
So I am sitting here exhausted and the phone rings. It is best of friend AM who lives in New York City. She and I have lots to catch up on because we have missed our daily calls for several days. All of a sudden she starts shooting me pictures of her East Hampton home. Oh my gosh. LOVELY. She was there this weekend sprucing things up for Memorial Day weekend.
I am headed there for the long weekend so I was thrilled to see how the front of her house is looking. She has added some wonderful metal planters with pruned Gardenia trees, two swan planters with pink geranium inside. She has planted white, light pink, pink peonies and blue hydrangea around the house (they are not yet in bloom but will be stunning).
AM and her hubby JE have a traditional Hamptons style grey shingle house with lots of french doors and windows. It is just darling. I have friends with very cute homes. Great for enjoying good times with them and for feeding my obsession with pretty spaces.
Can’t wait to see her and her family. We have a party we are all going to on Saturday night. Hiring a glam squad to get us looking good!
