The dictionary definition for the adjective Bohemian is “having informal and unconventional social habits”. How does this definition translate to home decor you might ask (or you might really want ask something else but for today I will assume you might ask this question…LOL!)? To me bohemian decor would be an unconventional mixing and matching of materials, styles and genres to create a loose relaxed pretty setting. Lots of print and patterns too.

I like just one or two bohemian touches. It can be a pillow, a throw or a flea market find. Too much and my home begins to feel like a thrift shop! 🙂
I’m really loving the mounted horns on the wall in the picture above. I think it would be really fun to play around with different sizes and colors of those mounted on a wall next to each other. Great post and ideas!
